A large part of Mark Ironside's success in college stemmed from his mastery of the front headlock. Now he shares the techniques, drills and secrets of this short offense series with you. He begins with the basics showing how to attack your opponent and get into the short offense series. He focuses on the snapdown and demonstrates how to hit the snapdown to the front headlock from the 2-on-1, collar tie, underhook, fakes and double inside tie. He shows a number of takedowns from the short offense series, including the single leg, double leg and ankle pick. He closes with a section on pinning, demonstrating how to earn the fall from the front headlock, as well as cradle technique. This is a great complement to his Short Offense - On the Mat and Defense DVD.
