The short offense series is a dominating offensive attack that wears down your opponent giving you a chance to score flurry of points - especially at the end of a match. Ironside devotes a bulk of his instruction to front headlock technique on the mat, specifically getting behind your opponent for the takedown. Various techniques covered include double inside tie snap down, zap tap, whip over, counter elbow offense and more. He also covers his preferred defense to the front headlock, demonstrating the proper technique to not only get away, but also how to use it against your opponent to score points. This is a great complement to his Short Offense - Snapdowns to Pins DVD.

This is a really good dvd. If one will take the fine points that are shown and apply them, they will have a front headlock series that is almost unstoppable. Mark also shows how to get out of this situation as well. This dvd is just as good as his leg defense and sitback dvd's. I can see how he was the Dan Hodge trophy winner. I wish he would do more.
