Game Speed Ball Control Drills

This is a great tape. I really like Coach Kordes' energy and approach. This tape gives quite a few tips about passing and shares lots of drills that lead to many reps in a short period of time. This is my favorite volleyball tape that I have bought. Her Max Reps covers some of the same territory but both are great tapes. I would consider this a tape more focused on lots of reps rather than game speed drills. I still would highly recommend this tape.

One of my favorite DVDs that I have purchased from this website. I would not consider them all "game speed" or even "game like." However, I am seeing improved performance in ball control and the thought process behind different types of passes and the base-to-read practice. Anne does a great job of explaining these drills so they are easy to incorporate.

Just for reference, I am a college head coach at a small NCAA DIII school with 8 years at the college level coaching experience. With that in mind, here's my two cents: True, it offers a lot of drills, and also true that Anne's team would whoop mine head-to-head. BUT, I was disappointed in this video. It didn't offer anything "new-to-me," plus a large portion of the drills are partner drills to which I am philosophically opposed because even IF you can make a partner drill "game speed," it's not going to be "game like." How often do you pass the ball directly to the person who sent you the ball in a straight line? We try and rep angles and avoid straight-line peppering. So, this one didn't work for me. I MUCH prefer my dvds from Bond Shymansky, and I really like "Progressive Ball Controll Drills" by Chris Gravel (which offers far fewer drills, but has an interesting strategy for getting players to think.) I'm in the minority, though, as everybody else seems to love this one!

This is a great set of drills I can use all the time as I am a coach with a small staff. There have been aspect of the girls' games that have not been improving and I beleive these drills will help.

I have a lot of volleyball DVDs and I go back to this one all the time to improve the ball control of my 4th-5th grade teams. Several of these pint-sized girls, including my daughter, developed into better passers than many 8th-9th graders I've seen at JO tournaments.

I thought the drills are great. Anne explains the drills well. I've already used some of these drills with my teams and have gotten results. I want my program to have great ball control and Anne's drills will help.

I stress ball control to my club team every practice. I am a firm believer that good ball control and setting wins the majority of games at younger levels. I use the progressions everyday as our team’s warm up. Most useful DVD that I own.

I own literally dozens of volleyball instructional videos. This is the best! Her drill progression really does get your kids moving, talking and thinking. Use her drills every day.

I own a majority of VHS/DVDs produced by Championship Products and Anne Kordes has delivered one of the best. I've incorporated her ball control drills as part of our daily routine and the improvement in control and conditioning is dramatic. She is a dynamic and believable coach and presenter. Well done Anne!

This is an excellent video. Annes Kordes does and excellent job of explaining the technique and desired results and options. The video covers all aspects of the game with both individual and team drills.

This is an excellent DVD, with great drills! Anne Kordes does an excellent job leading you through every drill and her team does an excellent job in demonstrating each drill. I think this DVD will be a best seller!
