solid info ... picked up a few gems ...
While I know that Coach McGill has a good reputation for his knowledge of the hurdle events, this video was very weak. I was quite disappointed that there was no technical content and no workout specifics. Mostly Coach McGill talking to the camera about how he runs his high school program. Not of much value to anyone wanting to expand their knowledge on the event. I really wished I could have my money back.
While Coach McGill has enjoyed great success as a high school coach and has a terrific website, I was underwhelmed by this video. The overall quality of the video is weak and the content incomplete compared to similar videos on this site by Gary Winkler or Will Freeman.
Not a great hurdle video. Hard to believe but video didn't go into any detail explaining lead leg or trail leg position or action. Some drills not performed correctly, the trail leg was pointing down with foot dangling down toward ground and not out to side.
