Becoming a Champion Pole Vaulter

Coach Rick Attig employs the "Task Progression Method" to help novice vaulters develop the whole skill of pole vaulting, and then progress to learn the specific skills and techniques. In this video, Coach Attig takes the athlete and coach from the pole grip and carry to bar clearance. He breaks down each vaulting phase to easy learning progressions and provides dozens of drills to help the athlete improve and perfect technique.
