This innovative video will share Grant Wood's ideas on how to conduct an ability awareness class so that students/participants develop empathy for those who have specific physical or mental challenges. The video shows middle school students engaged in activities at 15 different "Ability Awareness" stations, demonstrates group games that challenge students to include everyone in achieving a goal, and encourages teachers to think more positively about how to successfully include all students in their classes.
