All Access Northwestern Lacrosse Practice with Kelly Amonte Hiller
on August 3, 2013
I was really expecting more, especially paying 119 dollars for three DVDS. Don't get me wrong, some of the drills were very innovative and of course, watching arguably the best women's lacrosse coach in history is definitely worth paying for....but I guess I would have expected Championship Production to have made it more viewer friendly. I thought the 15/20 minutes of strength training on every DVD was pretty annoying. I would have much rather have watched more of their tactical and skills practice. At one point, you watch them scrimmage and Kelly is calling out plays and different calls, but you have no idea what these are. I understand if she doesn't want to give out her entire playbook, but then we shouldn't have watched that. I guess I was expecting Kelly to narrate a little bit. Talk about the various drills to the camera, talk about the 7v7. You watch a full field draw drill and although these are important, there were no key points brought up, no specific things for the viewer to watch for. It was a coach working with her team. It was lacking. I would buy 1 DVD first and then see if you think the others are worth purchasing.
