If you are a fan of option football then this video is a must for you and your coaches. The Curtis' do a great job of explaining the mechanics of the veer and then providing drills that will help you make it work. If you follow what you see in this video and really drill it, you cannot go wrong. I especially liked the angle of attack that they have the quarterback take, I see way too many teams attempt to half heartedly implement the veer and have their quarterbacks give ground going down the line only to lose yardage or mishandle the football every time. If you follow the technique espoused in this video, and really drill it, you will gain yardage on every down and control the LOS all game long. Great video!

I had no idea how much I DID NOT know about the Veer until I purchased this video. I have always run a seuccessful offense, based on what I THOUGHT was the Veer. I probably taught my players about 10% of the coaching points that were in this video. And that is being generous. This particular video has helped me gain a REAL understanding of an offense that I thought I knew. I will DEFINITELY purchase the rest of the Veer DVDs... I am truly appreciative that they made this video!
