with John Reagan,University of Kansas Offensive Line/Run Game Coordinator
Coach Reagan uses statistics to paint a picture of what the successful spread offense can produce. Utilizing personnel is a process of identifying productive offensive players and finding a way to get the ball to them. Other keys are to spread the defense, create one-on-one match-ups and force the defense to defend the full length/width of the field. Reagan examines schemes that match your offensive personnel, the zone scheme, man scheme, QB run game and the trap/fold scheme. In terms of inside zone, Reagan explains the aiming point from the home position and the shotgun. To clarify his teaching points Reagan uses the overhead diagram method as well as game footage during this excellent lecture-style presentation.
