Learn the basic concepts and drills used to install the Pistol Wing-T--a defensive coordinator's worst nightmare
Merging the ferocious intensity of the Direct Snap Wing-T with the slick deception of the Pistol Offense, Rick Stewart has proven that he can turn around a "down in the doldrums" program into a championship contender. Coach Stewart has used this offensive system to turn around three different schools that had poor records including 0-20, 1-19 and a team that won 8 games in the 5 years prior to his arrival. Coach Stewart led each team to the playoffs within his first two seasons at the helm.
In his DVD Coach Stewart takes you through the process of moving from the Wing-T into the Wing-T/Pistol hybrid. Stewart's offensive system maintains the high tempo, hit you in the mouth of the Wing-T and then adds the advantages of deception and the effective passing game of the Pistol. With his easy to follow style and his thoroughness of delivery, Stewart makes this DVD appropriate for coaches of all ages and from all styles.
Why the Pistol Wing-T?This offense was born out of a need for variety, forcing defenses out of the box and allowing running backs to become a downhill threat; all with very few adjustments to the running backs and offensive line footwork.

Great video for anyone who wants a basic introduction to wing-t football. If you are an experienced wing-t coach, it may not be as useful unless you want to see how someone else runs their system. It may also be useful if you want to add a veer package to your offense.
