Coach Chris Ball demonstrates the key techniques and drills he uses with his defensive backs in their attack 4-3 defense. In the first part of the tape, Coach Ball goes over the basic cover 4 coverage which is effective for both run support and pass defense. Included are the specific assignments and responsibilities for each position against various offensive sets. Next, he covers individual development and important fundamentals such as footwork, breaking on the ball, jamming receivers, breaking up passes, and catching. The tape concludes with the demonstrations of the various drills he uses to develop the proper coverage and reads in his defensive backs.
