Coach Fex presents to you the advantages that the 3-4 defense has to offer. Fex details how to put your best players on the field, and make coverage adjustments easier through his defensive scheme. The 3-4 defense will cause your opponents' play package to be greatly reduced because of the new blocking techniques they have to work on in preparation of the 3-4. Fex uses a white board as an aid to describe defensive personnel, front declaration, the base concepts of the split call and some base coverage concepts. He also uses PowerPoint slides to explain 10 personnel group adjustments. On the practice field. Fex has his players demonstrate the proper characteristics of defensive line, outside linebacker and inside linebacker play so you can see his concepts in a live setting.
