The Fly Offense was designed as a way to effectively move the ball with undersized linemen, but has morphed into an effective way to move the ball for any team, any size, and at any level. Coach Swartwood served as offensive coordinator under Mark Speckman, the inventor of the Fly Offense, and now passes along its many advantages to you. In addition to it's simplicity, The Fly makes it hard for the defense to key on one player, is hard for an opponent's scout team to run, it shows very few tendencies, and gives you a numbers advantage at the point of attack. Deception is the key to the offense and Coach Swartwood diagrams and uses game footage to demonstrate the key deception points. Swartwood covers the back's paths and the offensive line rules. He unveils the key play to the success of the offense, the sweep. Swartwood covers position-by-position assignments versus multiple fronts. He also includes two plays, the rocket screen and scissors play. If you are looking for an offense that is simple for your players to understand, difficult for defenses to defend, and creates mismatches at the point of attack, this is a "must have" for your DVD library.
