Jet Motion Serieswith Chuck Klausing,
College Football Hall of Fame ('98);
.821 NCAA Winning Percentage in 16 years as college head coach
Football legend Chuck Klausing, a 46-year veteran of coaching football, breaks down the motion variations from the Jet series. Jet motion evolved over time and is wingback motion behind the quarterback. In studying Jet Sweep motion, Coach Klausing found it was a great addition to the Wing T. It offers deception and power to the offense. The sweep is fast, the wing back is at full speed, and it spreads the flank wider which opens up plays inside. All facets of this offense are diagrammed and explained on overhead, followed by actual game footage of the Jet Motion. In all, 28 keys to this offense are listed including the '180 pivot by quarterback,' 'hand off in A gap,' 'quarterback hands off ball with right hand' and the 'quarterback fake.' To further explain the Jet Motion, Klausing and OB Coach Jeff Simmons take the team to the practice field and run the offense.
