Defending the Option with the 3-5-3

Defending the option effectively is one of the most difficult things to do in football. In this video, Coach Williams will show you how to do that using one of the most effective defenses in football today - the 3-5-3. Using consistent, simple rules, Williams diagrams the various fronts, stunts, and blitzes you can use to put your defenders in position to shutdown multiple option looks. Utilizing this defense, Georgia Military set a national junior college record in allowing an unbelievable 67.6 total yards per game. This video is a great compliment to Coach William's Basics of the 3-5-3.
