In 2004, George and oversaw a Miami of Ohio defense that ranked among the top three in the Mid-American Conference in both rushing and scoring defense. George's presentation is based on the 4-3 defense, playing both a 9 technique and a 5 technique. The Indiana line philosophy focuses on an attacking front getting the heels of the offensive lineman a yard into the backfield. George stresses seven keys to front four dominance.
