This presentation begins with Coach Brandt taking her squad through three basic stretching exercises then moving into instruction for three jump approaches. Brandt shares seven jumps with specific instruction and tips for proper execution. In the final segment, Brandt provides you with conditioning exercises along with ideas on how to circuit train your cheerleaders, followed by a jump endurance demonstration.

Coach Brandt takes four demonstrators through a tryout simulation, which provides a perfect way for you to learn what to look for in cheer tryouts. Tryout skills included for Level 2 are running and tumbling, jumps, standing tumbling and stunting. The Level 3 tryout features the same sequence, but increases the difficulty with tucks and full downs out of extension.
