From high school to Olympic Gold, Van Chancellor has duplicated winning basketball for 44 years. His 1-4 offense can be utilized against defenses that attack with traps, pressure and switching. For every defensive stunt, the system presents counter action to take advantage of the off balance opponent. The screen and roll is the featured offensive tactic, but he also demonstrates the step back and high post pressure release. Chancellor illustrates the 1-4 offense's versatility with sets against the man-to-man, zone and trapping defenses. Five unique adjustments are part of this multiple offensive attack, and he shows each using on-court demonstrators. The veteran coach also shares four out-of-bounds plays and two late game plays for crunch time. This offense has been fine-tuned over a half century of basketball experience by Chancellor and will provide scoring and efficiency against any defense.
