The Unstoppable, "No Mistake" 5-Out Motion Offense

Great video for 5 out motion and keeping it simple at the youth Younger age groups to teach the basics of 5 out motion. Would recommend this one.

Great style of offense for any high school team to incorporate. I think taking the basics of the offense and installing seem easy and are great for teams that can shoot the ball well. A team in my state uses this exact offense and were known as one of the best offensive teams and had multiple games of 20+ made 3 point attempts.

Out of my collection of DVDs from Championship Production over pretty much every phase of basketball, this is one of my favorites. The coaching instruction is easy to follow. The video starts out with an over view of the whole offense, the rules of the offense (not many), and the numbering system that Coach Perretta came up with. Coach explains in great detail each players actions and possible reads that are developed from those actions based on what the defender does. Next the breakdown drills in order to build this offense. Simple 3-4 player breakdown drills in order to develop the players IQ. Nothing too complicated where you are watching a 3 hour DVD. This was what really impressed me. Coach was able to go through the whole offense in roughly 45-50 minutes. I was able to add this offense into our Summer session rotation and over the course of two weeks my JV girls have improved their basketball IQ based on using this offense. The players are reading the defenders better each practice session and game. This is a great system to have and install, especially if you have an undersized team and no major ball handlers.

The offense is a great elementary teaching for the motion offense and I learned alot about teaching the players to not stand around when on the offensive end and always create for scoring opportunities. the claim that it is unscoutable and unstoppable is very apprehensive and untrue.

Harry Perretta presents a simple, wonderful, instructive system which explains an offense which coaches at various levels can easily use and adapt for their programs. Great Job. This can be used at the youth basketball level as well as collegiate. Maybe not to the same extent, but portions of it. The 5-Out has that 'no mistake' aspect which would connect at all levels. Probably my favorite motion video that i have purchased. easy to teach and understand.

A good overview of his 5-out offense. I have used parts of his offense with my highschool team with good success.(just wish I had his shooters)
I especially liked his breakdown drills that help develop the many aspects of this offense.
