The Encyclopedia of the Dribble-Drive Motion Offense

This session has really aged well. The concepts and explanations are great and very relevant in today's game. Coach Franschilla explains everything very well, and his demonstrations are great to help implement it from scratch.

This DVD is very detailed oriented with great nuggets about running the offense correctly. The DVD breaks it down on the chalkboard first, provides various options and adjustments within the offense. Great detail about each responsibility through the various positions and great drills to improve shooting/ball handling. Was very helpful and would be beneficial for any coach at any level.

This one is worth the money, IMO. Hard to rank it "above" the Wahlberg video, so let's just say that both will teach you (very quickly) how to get the offense installed and up running.

One caveat: the section about running DDM vs. zone is a bit small (relative to running it vs man), so be wary if that's your main reason for purchasing. That said, Coach F. has a smart set to run vs. zone here and really highlights the main point: to run DDM vs. the zone, you'll need to get the zone to shift a bit so you can have gaps to drive through.

Again, a fantastic video: Coach is a magnificent teacher.

Great resource. Coach Fraschilla simplifies the offense and puts things in perspective. Memphis DDM explained very well, along with a nice zone opportunity, but didn't get much out do the international DDM

I read the reviews on here about the DDR dvd's, so I went with the Fran Fraschilla one and I was not dissapointed. He is very easily understood and clearly explained the Dribble Drive Motion. I can't say anything about the other DDR dvd's, but this one was well worth the money. Unfortunately I don't have the player personnel to run the offense.

I have Vance Walberg's Dribble Drive attack offense (first version) and I bought this to get a different perspective. What I got was perhaps the most comprehensive teaching of the dribble drive offense that exists today. Yes I have coach Calipari's 3 pack on the dribble drive offense but Coach Fraschilla is a master teacher and a natural when getting into the details of this offense and variations including using screens and how to get out of trouble if things break down. This is the best single DVD instruction pack I own. I own over 100 and it can't be beat. I always prefer to see an offense run against some real defense. Have not checked out Walberg's newest offering. Don't like Calipari's DVD's at all.

Coach Fraschilla covers different offenses (4 out, 3 out, high pick&roll, side high pick&roll, vs. zones, options like Duke, Florida, Suns, etc.). The complete package.

Each section has a white board part soon followed by on the court demonstration.

Also included are drills for building the offense and develop individual skills (although not as many drills as I would have liked),

Almost six hours are dedicated to DDM offense!

An absolute 5-stars DVD. No doubt about it.

This is an instructional DVD not a video of a clinic. It is detailed with chalk talk followed by on court demonstration. It is well done. In my opinion a BEST BUY.
