I am yet to buy this and it does seem like a good buy although I cannot tell since no coach should use defensive press systems for kids and most of the reviews talk about applying this in high school.

I coach 6th grade boys travel, and I found this video very useful. I was not familiar with the 2-2-1, but wanted to get a press up and running very quickly, and this video was instrumental in doing just that. Great visualization of the press, as well as useful drills and explanations. I love it when as coach can summarize a topic in a few words, and “force, contain, pressure” pretty much describes this press. This video was worth the money, and a welcome addition to my growing library. The players absolutely LOVE this press, and it's their fav part of practice. The only negative is that this is copied from a VHS tape, and the menu/navigation is limited. I love you Championship Productions, but I know you can do better with the reproduction to DVD.

Coach Calhoun does a good job teaching the 2-2-1 press. I like his philosphy on this press and the different looks you can give a team for it. The individual drills shown in the video was definitely helpful to get your players more prepared to implement this press. I recommend this video for all that teach the 2-2-1 press.

Calhoun's review and discussion of the 2-2-1 press provides a different perspective than some other material. The approach he takes is a little more aggressive than a typical 2-2-1 that allows ball-reversal. There was nothing new or innovative in the drills but I did learn some tips from the explanation. I felt that this video was a little more useful than Kevin Sutton's 2-2-1 press video.

Coach Calhoun does a great job breaking down and teaching the 2-2-1 press. Really increased my knowledge of it. I know this was originally on just VHS but it seems like Championship Productions could add in a Menu and chapters so that you wouldn't have to search with fast forward and rewind to see the parts you want to review again.

We run the 2-2-1 in our school, so this was a great video. If you are interested in running this low risk high reward press get this video. Calhoun explains individual drills that are done everyday that are incorporated into their zone. He shows the press, explains the roles of each players, provides 4 situations that come up in games that you can practice, and the video also shows game film showing how the press works in live action. He teaches a couple of points and then there is a clip that coincides with it. A great buy if you are intrested in the 2-2-1.
