Tara VanDerveer: 25 Offensive Practice Drills for Success

World renowned women's basketball coach Tara VanDerveer has compiled more than 600 wins in her 25+ year collegiate coaching career. In this video, Coach VanDerveer shares the offensive drills that have greatly contributed to her team's successes. VanDerveer has used all of these drills with her teams to create more, and better, scoring opportunities than opponents, increase competitive intensity in her players and help her athletes master the fundamentals. VanDerveer shares 25 drills --- pre-warm-up, warm-up, individual skills including shooting and rebounding, as well as post and perimeter routines. Coaches will learn how to use timed and competitive drills in a purposeful way to add variety to practice, make corrections and to complement and refine any offensive set.
