He covers four phases of training including warm-up, strength, power, and speed development. In the warm-up phase, the focus is on jump rope, footwork, and medicine ball drills. Strength and power exercises work the legs, upper body, abs, and back. To improve change of direction and first-step quickness, Maxwell demonstrates a series of explosive plyometric exercises.
