Snow Valley Basketball Camp is one of the premier camps in the nation. Featured in Sports Illustrated as one of the best fundamental basketball camps in the country, the camp's primary focus is on helping players improve their individual basketball skills in every area of the game. Each camp contains an outstanding group of experienced high school, college and professional coaches selected for their ability to teach the game.

MOVING WITHOUT THE BALL (Hanlen - 42 minutes):
Coach Hanlen discusses five types of cuts an offensive player can make to create space when coming off a screen to receive a pass. Each one is demonstrated and explained in detail. Hanlen will introduces a 4 v 4 cut throat drill that forces players to use one of the five cuts to get open.

POST PLAYER FUNDAMENTALS (Logalbo/Myers - 28 minutes):
Learn the necessary skill-sets all post players need to be successful. Included is instruction on both post-up position and entry passes. Each coach uses drills to teach you the footwork, body position and hand position from both the post and guard's point of view.

INDIVIDUAL OFFENSE (Hanlen - 35 minutes):
Sell your fakes and use quick body movements--"violent strikes"--to throw your defender off balance and take them out of their stance and positioning. Coach Hanlen delivers 1 v 0 and 1 v 1 drills to exploit holes in the defense and get a feel for footwork, speed, timing, control and quick offensive strikes.

TRANSITION OFFENSE (Saevre - 18 minutes):
Starting with a 2 v 1 scenario, and culminating with a 5 v 5 set, Coach Saevre explains the importance of making good, quick decisions in game-like situations. He them moves into a secondary break drill demonstrating player movements and responsibilities to get a good, quick shot. The importance of passing ahead is emphasized, and quick decision making is drilled heavily.

OFFENSIVE SKILL WORK: PICK & ROLL (Hanlen - 41 minutes):
Coach Hanlen teaches the art of the pick and roll by thoroughly explaining the various read progressions a guard must go through when coming off of the screen to attack the defense. Hanlen uses drills to teach foot position, shoulder placement, maintaining vision when coming off of a screen and to reinforce all of the scenarios and reads he discusses.

ZONE OFFENSE (Locke - 30 minutes):
Learn a simple, but very effective zone offense! Passing and the pass fake are the most effective tools a player has to disrupt a zone. Coach Locke uses a 4 v 4 shell drill to teach you how to attack the seams in the zone even if you don't have the ball. He demonstrates how to use the dribble to penetrate gaps and get into the seams forcing two defenders to guard one offensive player. He also demonstrates how to use a drift dribble to drag the defender off balance and displace the zone creating bigger seams and gaps.

Snow Valley Basketball Camp provides its campers with all of the critical fundamentals and technical skills needed to become a top player. With this video set, Snow Valley gives you an inside look into what makes it so popular amongst coaches and players across the country.

A worth while investment. I wasn't crazy about the post drills and the zone offense was weak but the rest of the dvd was beneficial. i would recommend buying the 4 pack if you run any type of camp.
