After veiwing the DVD series by Mr. Bob Kloppenburg (which is a must have) explaining the SOS defensive sets and ideas, I knew had to have the book. What I liked about the book was its clear instructions and tons of details. The book covered a lot defensive scenarios that you will face in a game. The book even shows you how to disrupt the fastbreaks, post plays,and how to defend against halfcourt set offenses, like the Flex and Triangle offense. I started using this SOS system two years ago, for my girls varsity level team. We focused on improving our one on one man coverage. Over that two year span, we have improved in our league from 10th (10 team conference) in steals, blocks and defensive FG% to 8th, 4th. I can't wait to see how much we have improved this year. I love this book.
