He shares that if you have multiple ball handlers, this type of offense is very effective at allowing them to create offensive opportunities. It also can create great post up opportunities for your bigs. If you have a four players on the court that can shoot, there are tons of open shots created after they set the ball screen. If you have players with deficiencies on the court, you can hide them in this offense as well.

He includes two warm-up drills that will incorporate the pick and roll and pick and pop action in your offense. He teaches three main ball screen options: side, shake, and flat. He also provides a detailed look at 3-out 2-in ball screen offense along with a 4-out 1-in ball screen offense that is centered around guards with speed.

A unique set included in this presentation shows how a team with only one strong ball handler can still run this offense. The "Flat" set aligns 4 players on the baseline as the skilled guard has the ball on top of the key. A post then sprints to the screen and some terrific scoring options present themselves.

With each ball screen option, Coach Senderoff outlines how defenses will attempt to guard your ball screen action. With each defensive alignment, Senderoff demonstrates counters to leave your opponents dragging their feet as they watch you blow by to the rim. He shows you how to emphasize different situations with your players as they go through the offensive development of the ball screen system. Skill Development for Post Players

with Rob Senderoff, Kent State Head Coach;
led team to consecutive MAC regular season championships

CBSSports.com recognized him as the top assistant coach in the MAC in 2010, the same year that The Hoop Scoop rated him as one of the top 50 Mid-Major Assistants in the country.

As an assistant coach for the past 15 years, Rob Senderoff's assignment has been working with and developing post players. Over that time, Coach Senderoff has developed a progressive system for developing well-rounded post skills for any offensive system. With over 14 drills and variations, you will come away with challenging workout that builds your post players confidence and moves in the post.

Easy to use and fun to do, many of these drills incorporate multiple sensory tasks (eg, tennis balls) that enable development of the hands and feet. With over 14 drills and variations, you will come away with a challenging workout that builds your post players' confidence and moves in the post.

Coach Senderoff will build a complete post player from the ground up starting with your post player's ability to handle the basketball in the post and pivot to create space in the post for a scoring opportunity. He uses everyday equipment to make post players work harder around the rim making their normal motion in a game much easier and fluid. With each drill your players will learn to develop an aggressive mentality around the rim that includes finishing off of two feet, ripping strong to the rim, and chinning the ball before creating a scoring opportunity.

The hook shot is one of the fundamental shots that Coach Senderoff stresses as it allows the offensive player a chance to protect the ball from the defender. After the initial warm up series of hook shots, Coach then teaches the players how to counter off of this simple move. He continually stresses that post players don't need a ton of moves, they simply need a few moves to counter the basic hook shot. Coach Senderoff then teaches the players a few simple counters that will be effective in almost any situation.

In coach's complete Chair Drill Series, your post players will gain the confidence they need to be successful finishing around the rim against any opponent. Coach will teach your post players a go to move and a counter move with and without a dribble. This will make you post players an unstoppable presence against any defender.

In the Duke Series, your post players will gain another level of scoring in the post develop when they face up and look to attack the rim using jabs, bump fakes, rip throughs, and footwork around the rim. Coach does an excellent job making the complete post player for any level of coach.

Whether it is the fundamental warm up routine or the in depth look at key aspects to being successful in the post, Coach Senderoff will fill your plate with drills and knowledge. If your players are willing to work hard and train with an open mind set, they will develop the necessary skills to make them an unstoppable force in the paint.
