For many seasons, Coach McNally has used this consistent up-tempo attack based on NBA offenses. The NBA has only 24 seconds to score and this philosophy feeds into McNally's offense. This offense is systematic, meaning all of the parts and options fit together. It provides a way to quickly get into your offense as opposed to the slower half court offenses. Players love this style of play, it can be adapted to fit your personnel, is structured with player freedom and forces defenses to be mentally tough.

Five offensive concepts are the foundation of McNally's pro style offense. McNally breaks down the wedge, drag, and hand techniques - all are keys to getting easy baskets in this offense. Three scoring options come from forcing the break on each possession. Pushing the ball down the floor is predicated on good defensive rebounding. I personally love this video too. But like the other review, this is also the style we run as well. If you are a half court type of team then this video doesn't really help too much.

Personally I absolutely love this DVD. There are about 7 quick hitters off of the break that work very well. Each option has a counter off of it too. However this is the style we run, so it works great for me. We run and hit the defense quick. So if your style is to attack quick, then this DVD is perfect for you.

Just a slight correction to a previous post. The video clip is in the DVD. My guess is that it was a slight oversight.

Great DVD by a great coach. Coach McNally has done such a dynamite job over the years at Poly Prep. His attention to detail really comes out in his Pro Style Offense DVD. Everything is explained so clearly that it would be very easy to implement at the High School and College Levels. Coach McNally is a great student of the game and it comes out on this DVD. The ProStyle Early Offense just flows real nicely into any offense that you run. I recomend it highly.
