Legendary DeMatha HS (MD) coach Morgan Wootten adds to his popular collection of instructional videos with an in-depth look at coaching in special situations. This tape covers everything a coach needs to know to put his/her team in the position to win when the game is on the line. Areas covered include a spread offense to use late in the game with the lead or in a tie situation. This offense is easy to teach and results in excellent scoring opportunities in addition to the ability to use the clock. Other coaching areas covered include out of bounds plays for under the basket, sideline, and end line to get the ball in safely and also to score. Wootten also covers end of game strategies and philosophy including detailing his color code system to easily communicate defensive strategies to his team.
