Playing "Sound Basketball" is a concept so important to Coach Jack Bennett that he has developed his coaching philosophy toward that goal, his team practice drills are based on reinforcing it, and it is his teams' "soundness" with the ball that Bennett can point to as evidence in back-to-back National Championship titles! In three of the most important games of the last two seasons, one semifinal and the two championship games, Bennett's teams had an astounding 49 assists and only 15 turnovers. They had no turnovers in the second half of the 2005 Championship Game due, in large part, to the drills shared on this DVD. These drills will make your team a better passing team - this translates into an effective, more aggressive offense! In this DVD, Coach Bennett shares his philosophy and teaches seven comprehensive possession drills that start out 2-on-0 and build up to 4-on-4, half- and full-court. Bennett also discusses the common errors that players make and offers simple corrections. In addition, extensive game footage highlights the benefits of the drills when "the pressure is on." This video is a great complement to any half- or full-court offensive system because it reinforces Bennett's philosophy: "less turnovers equals more wins!"
41 minutes. 2005.

The title and the advertising description of this video is misleading. This video is about passing drills and a philosophy of reducing turnovers. It does not include shooting drills, rebounding drills, defensive drills (other than a "change" call) etc. Coach Bennett shares his philosophy related to taking care of the ball, flowing naturally and being unselfishing during game footage. This straight-forward information is quite vital to a team's success. However, this video needs beefed up to be asking full price. It's more like half of a typical video. I'm glad I bought this video for reinforcement of my beliefts but others might feel jilted. Bennett disciples will certainly want this video. "There are no magic drills." - Lon Kruger
Too much game footage and not enough instruction. This video is about 45 minutes long and only 27 minutes are dedicated to actual drills. Coach Bennett only does 6 drills in this video. I did get two drills that I will use in practice from time to time. Not enough bang for my buck however.
