with Ganon Baker,
Lead Instructor Nike Skills Academy

Ganon Baker's passion and commitment to helping players improve key skills has made him one of the world's best teachers. In Baker's world, ball skills are mandatory for players regardless of size and position. Baker proves his motivational brilliance on the floor, pushing players to the limit of their ability and sharing thoughts on how to avoid workout boredom and mediocrity. Over a dozen high intensity post drills will help you motivate players and strengthen your practice drill checklist. Universal positioning is a Baker staple that is incorporated into each drill. Two ball drills challenge each player's ability and help hand strength and catching in the post. Once in position, Baker teaches the jump hook, up and under, and step through moves. Creative use of the paddles and chairs enhance the value of post drills. Players learn how to catch and finish through contact in the lane. This DVD will incorporate consistency, intensity and persistence into each player's game and result in great improvement.

I never write these, but felt I needed to for this one.

Do not waste you money. Besides the 10 min. intro on motivation, the rest of it is way too complex for HS and most College athletes. Comes off very arrogant telling lots of stories about himself and which pro player he worked with.

The drills are combining a lot of smaller drills and rolling them into one, and I never see where any of them would develop the fundamentals needed. I know Baker does ball-handleing videos and I was hoping by the name of it I would see some drills to develop post players handles, but it never went there.
