Five-Star Basketball: The Triangle Offense for High School Basketball

Coach Courtney Brooks is clearly a great Coach. You can see the connection that he takes seriously with his team, and the team is well established in the principles of the offense.

Brooks himself, is very familiar with the offense, and so is able to deftly teach it, and help you understand and see the purpose.

This is a great preparation for Tex Winters' videos on the subject; yet, in many ways, Coach Brooks is even easier to understand.

Great DVD on the Triangle Offense and how to install tnis offense. Coach Brooks did an excellent job of instructing the players, going over key terms of the offense, and highlighting each players options. I also was impressed with the coach going over the proper footwork for when you are in the pinch post and the wing area. Lastly I really liked how coach covered the a few options of this offense. You have the back screen option, dribble weave look, and constant movement of players.I gave it a 4 star rating. I was impressed.

I found this very helpful in learning the triangle offense. Coach Brooks does a good job of breaking down different entries into the offense as well as different plays, such as a 1-4 set, that get's back into the triangle offense. He also takes opportunity to make some teaching moments during the tape to correct a few points and details of the offense. If your looking to install this offense this will definitely get you going in the right direction, great material to build on.

Great dvd! Teaches the triangle very well and is easy to follow. The step by step progression through each option was terrific, making everything easily understandable. Definitely recommended if your looking to learn the triangle!
