Excellent tape - some great insights on coaching the pack line style of man-to-man defense

Excellent. Simular to the pack line defense but outstanding drills. Broken down into offense defense. The drills in the the defensive segment are excellent building from 1on1 to 4 man shell.

I coach high school girl's varsity basketball and this dvd and the drill work make our packline defense one of the best m2m in our area. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to play a packline type defense and limit the number of layups for your opponent and make them settle for jump shots.

Great dvd...will be implementing all these drills with my high school boys' team. With just a few minutes of instruction, you could tell a major difference between the players he started with on the court and the ones he brought in later for the five-on-five drill.

I have to give it four stars as I expected more out of it. 3 on 3 shell drills are outdated and have never made sense due to long close-outs and slow rotation. I found coach Jacobson to appear more confident than factual. Good speaker though. Post production was great.

Really like the way Coach Jacobson teaches and explains his defensive concepts. The angle of approach is a new twist on the short closeout concept we really liked and one we will be looking to emphasize more with our team. This product is a very strong drills package that builds the defense from 1v1 up to 4v4.

We would've liked to have seen more detail on Post coverage besides the rotation on penetration. However, we had also bought the Sean Miller tape at the same time, which covers the Post perfectly and in great detail.

We highly recommend Coach Jacobsons tape to anyone looking to build a strong M2M/Packline Defense from the ground up. Coupled with the Sean Miller tape, you will have what we believe is the ultimate Packline combination.

Ben Jacobsen Competitive Drills: Man to man Defense dvd is a great and his principles on his version of the Pack Defense are tremendous!! It changed our college basketball team from a 11 win season to a 20 win season! I would reccommmend it for any team in high school or college.

I watch lots of basketball DVD's. This was one of the best. I especially like the "keep out of the paint" drill. Coach Jacobson has developed drills that get to the heart of playing hard nosed man to man defense

The video has some great drills and teaching points to build a solid man defense. I was really impressed with the attention to detail like Coach Jacobson's emphasis on taking the proper angle on closeouts and rotation on penetration. Great video if you need some drills and pointers to help teach man defense!

It's a more than everage drill DVD The drills are very usefull to improve our defense. I already used the major part of them inclusive the keys coach Ben Jacobson ads to them. I think it's worth the money asked!!

One of the best Drill dvds that is out. I was at the clinic and saw this live and really loved the drills he showed. Some of these drills became our favorite drills to use in practice.

Drill include a nice shooting drill using screens getting shots for bigs and gds reading screens etc. a 2 minute basic /fundamental lay up drill The drills in the the defensive segment are excellent building from 1on1 to 4 man shell. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 8.5
