Learn the most important concepts you must teach the dribbler and the screener: Creating separation, getting to the level of the screen, how to hold the screen and the three types of screens.

Using a 2-on-2 demonstration, Mack shows you the five defense attacks most commonly used to defend the ball screen. For each of these scenarios, Mack takes you through two ways to attack the defense and provides the ball handler and screener reads and passes.

Definitely a 5. Wes Peek has an outstanding DVD of the set-up and continuity of ballscreen offense. Coach Mack does a great job giving you a plan on what to do against hard hedges, switches, going under etc. if you use a ball screen offense, I would get both.
The offense is easy to learn- what do do against various defenses is what makes it work.
Coach Mack concentrates on the latter.

I'm not really sure what rating to give this DVD. The info on it is top notch. Coach Mack talks about Pick & Roll as well as anyone I've listened to. Great ideas, great plays and some very useful information.

My complaint is that I bought this to go with Coach Mack's "Winning with a Structured Fast Break" to add a continuity offense using the Pick & Roll. There is no continuity offense at all in this video.

So, if you want a video that helps you understand and use the Pick & Roll in your offense, this is a great video.

If you want to implement a Pick & Roll continuity offense, save your money and don't buy this one.

I'm giving this DVD a low rating, not because of information on it, but based on the misleading title. I spent a lot of money thinking I was getting what I wanted.

Thanks for your review. We agree, Coach Mack knocked this one out of the park. This video is as informative and well produced on the topic as any. It does exactly what is says it is going to do, puts your players in a great position to score and be successful, limits turnovers, drags the opponents post players away from the basket, and puts the opposing team at a disadvantage by making to players move and play defense throughout the offense position and thus giving you a rebounding advantage. These sets can be used as set plays or an offense. If you have a shot clock, they will be even better. This video will help your players learn how to play basketball.
