In this clinic demonstration, Coach Lowery goes through a number of drills to help strengthen your defensive transition game. Coach Lowery expects his post players to defend, and all players must get up into the ball and keep the 5 second count alive. The drills he demonstrates feature a number of game type situations in which your players will find themselves in. These situations include communicating and stopping the ball as a player hustles from behind, trapping at the half court line and disadvantage situations where the defenders must scramble, communication and always guard the ball. Other skills Lowery touches on are rebounding, one-on-one defense and closing out.

Excellent defensive video! The drills may or may not be new to you but the emphasis of what you coach, what you expect, what you tolerate might be. This dvd contains great defensive fundamental information and gives insight on how to teach your players. The drills are ones you either already do but probably without the teaching points or they are drills you have to think about adding. Very worthwhile to me. He emphasizes pressure, playing hard, getting up and into the ball handler.
