The time it takes to teach an offense can be challenging, but with the ball screen offense, it is quite simple and your players will be able to learn it in a short period of time. Starting at the beginning, Coach Senderoff discusses why you would want to run this offense. He shares that if you have multiple ball handlers, this type of offense is very effective at allowing them to create offensive opportunities. It also can create great post up opportunities for your bigs. If you have a four players on the court that can shoot, there are tons of open shots created after they set the ball screen. If you have players with deficiencies on the court, you can hide them in this offense as well.
Once the players step on to the court, Coach Senderoff builds each phase of the Kent State ball screen motion offense. He includes two warm-up drills that will incorporate the pick and roll and pick and pop action in your offense. He teaches three main ball screen options: side, shake, and flat. He also provides a detailed look at 3-out 2-in ball screen offense along with a 4-out 1-in ball screen offense that is centered around guards with speed.
A unique set included in this presentation shows how a team with only one strong ball handler can still run this offense. The "Flat" set aligns 4 players on the baseline as the skilled guard has the ball on top of the key. A post then sprints to the screen and some terrific scoring options present themselves.
With each ball screen option, Coach Senderoff outlines how defenses will attempt to guard your ball screen action. With each defensive alignment, Senderoff demonstrates counters to leave your opponents dragging their feet as they watch you blow by to the rim. He shows you how to emphasize different situations with your players as they go through the offensive development of the ball screen system. You will certainly find ways to take advantage of what the defense is giving you when you players learn how to read what the defense is giving you.

I am fan of ball screen offense but this DVD is very similar to the other ball screen offense DVDs
I am impressed with the simplicity this offense has been to teach my players. It has more than most of the other ball screen offensive DVD's I have viewed. Highly recommended for those wanting to add to their offensive arsenal.
Good stuff, but this is the video for the Skill Development for Post Players
