Quick hitters allow specific shots to be created for the best scorers on the floor. Coach Frese shows you how to have more control on which players are given the best opportunities to score. Frese begins with the "Hometown" play, which has been in her arsenal for years. Frese also shares five unique quick hitters from the same box alignment. Plays from the box set are advantageous because they can counter scouting by the opponent. These plays can be adapted to your player's size, hand preference and ability. A consideration is to prepare for double teams when your team executes an on ball screen. The variety of plays include: cross screen, diagonal screen, isolation, X screen and up screen. "Three hit" is a quick hitter to create an open three by using the flare screen. Another favorite series comes from the 1-4 flat alignment. This series present many different scoring options by different players and can be adapted to your lineup.
