Coach Stevens hit the college basketball scene like a hurricane in 2008, becoming the third-youngest NCAA Division I coach to guide his team to 30 wins in a season. Known for his ability to lead undersized teams to success, Stevens will show you how smaller teams can flourish in this system of play.
Stevens takes negatives and turns them into weapons through defense, rebounding, and ball security. Stevens examines five keys to beating bigger teams, as well as nine "areas to address" as you implement this system for undersized success.
Stevens shares a perfect mix of drills and philosophy as he shows how his teams can conquer any national powerhouse. Use these ideas and drills to defeat bigger, better and more athletic opponents on a consistent basis.

I really wished the other reviews were wrong and that this DVD was more helpful but there is really not a lot of useful take aways from this video. I will certainly never need to watch this video again and probably didn''t really need to the first time. You get one closeout drill that also works on fronting the post. He gives you a few entries into ball screen plays. The rest is talking. Now talking can sometimes be good, but there really isn''t a lot of specific, useful information that you can apply to your team to learn how to be more effective with undersized players. It''s all general concepts with limited explanation and sharing over and over again that his team was successful despite size.Championship Productions replies:Coach, Please check our return policy for details on how you can receive a refund or exchange this item for something that better meets your needs. found very little useful things in this video to help me as a coach. bought this based on company listing this as a best seller. one of your worst videos - very disappointed
I agree with most of the other reviews would like to have more on the court stuff than him sharing his points of emphasis on how undersized teams can win.
Interesting to hear coach Stevens talk about the ingredients necessary to win as an undersize team however there was very little time spend deomonstrating drills that would help you accomplish this. Would have like to have him spend more time on the drills rather than the philosophty
I was highly dissappointed with this video. 70% of it focused on why undersized teams can win, and the rest had limited drills and plays. I respect Coach Stevens immensely, and would have like to get more things I could use.
I was not impressed with this video. I ordered this before their final four run and was really excited to watch it after seeing his teams play. Mostly a philosophical video more than an action video - it had limited drills. I wish he would have went more into the drills. If I had to 2 point guards and two 3's who could play perimeter and post this video would have been beneficial.
Good if your players are interchangeable.
So glad Coach Stevens shares with us his philosophy and methods of winning with undersized teams. Great information with team drills.
