Philosophy
Bob Knight's emphasizes that cutting and screening gives you the best opportunity to shoot good shots every time down the court. Forcing all five defenders to guard at all times with no specific offensive pattern will allow for uncontested shots time after time.

With Knight's spacing principles, you have the opportunity to set screens and cut to the basket while keeping the floor properly balanced at all times.

Cutting & Screening
No matter what man-to-man offense you run, Knight demonstrates how you can use proper screening techniques, well-balanced spacing, and set up screens to make your offense highly efficient. Knight teaches the effective use of the down screen, the back screen, the cross screen, the flare screen, the slip screen, the double screen, and the T screen in a number of on-court demonstrations. Included in the bonus game films, you will discover hundreds of clips showing the screens in action.

Offensive Drills
All of Knight's drills begin with a 2-on-2 set-up and expand to 5-on-5. The drills utilize all of the screening and cutting actions covered in the screening segment. As the drills progress, constant motion with proper spacing is emphasized. To improve the flow of the offense, Knight implements limitations on the drills requiring players to "see and observe" the defense.

Motion Entries
In the bonus footage you will discover six motion entries Knight has used to initiate his passing, cutting, and screening offense. Included are "Baseline Reverse" and "Triangle" which he has been using since his time at Indiana University in the early 1970s!
