Bob Huggins: Cut & Fill Motion Offense

very good details and instruction on the video. great floor spacing, good cutting action and multiple things you can incorporate depending on your teams skill set.

Very Basic. If you have prior knowledge to an open post motion offense and are looking for additional layers to add to it, this is not the dvd. Flex cut rule about the screener was awesome. If you don't know much about a 5 out, this dvd is a good starter.

A five star only because cannot give it six. Great intro into this offense. We implimented at boys varsity last year with nice results. You can add onto this as you go along. This plus Lason Perkins Open Post DVD and Huggins book Motion offense are all you need. Super if you want better spacing and cutting in your man offense.

I enjoy listening to Coach Huggins. I also enjoy the fact he gets to the point and has a good balance of instruction, past experience, and background. The only thing that kept this from being a 5 of 5 is his time restraints preventing us from seeing how he uses this in a 2 on 2, 3 on 3, and 4 on 4 setting along with the drills he uses on a day to day basis. He gives you a few drill ideas, but nothing in detail. That being said... I very much enjoyed this and will be implementing some of this into our motion. I would recommend this to anyone that runs motion and is tired of having their guys stand around watching the ball. The movement is incredible.

Good video quality, no junk footage. Opening anecdotes a bit long (13 min) but thereafter a full hour of instruction.

Shows 5-out spacing and explains defensive reads and types of cuts with fills. Adds curls, flex cuts etc.

We've found this system is simple and effective, especially with younger players as it teaches proper spacing, movement and does not limit players to one position.

Great Dvd and the system is easy to teach. Coach Huggins is a great coach.

Great video. The offense provides good moment and is easy for the kids to learn. I Coach High School Girls and they enjoy this system.

I really enjoyed this video. Breaks down the offense and shows different options you can use to create different players shots. Really like this offense. Would like to take parts of this video and mesh it with concepts of Jerry Petitgoue's Open Post Motion Offense. Both videos do a good job of breaking it down and showing multiple options.

Good introduction and spine for open post offense. Other reviews here are right on as well. If you are going to install the offense, it definitely gives you a background, and the simple L-cut is a great teaching point, starting point. If there was a 4.5, I'd probably give this video that, but definitely have to round it up.

If you have his previous Open Post Motion or the Pettigue/Perkins version of the Open Post, you will not see much new. As an open post coach it did reaffirm my belief in the system, but didnt enlighten me. Overall a solid Huggins dvd. Had not heard the treadmill stories before. That was funny, but actually a clever idea for enforcing your points to players.
