All Access Basketball Practice with Chris Mack

One of the best DVD's I have ever purchased well worth the $.

After reading the reviews of my fellow coaching peers, I had to purchase this DVD set. Much like my coaching peers, I am giving this DVD set a "5-Star" rating. Coach Mack and his coaching staff are very engaged and enthusiastic with their approach to practice and setting the tone for the day. The defensive drills cover the Pack Line defense and they are excellent!! Like others have stated, you get great warm-up drills covering each area of skill development for offense. The DVDs touch a little bit on offense. But the most of the DVD covers defense. I love the baseball drill that covers defense. Great ideas and tons of information in this DVD set. You will not be disappointed. 5-Star!!!

The best coaching video I own to date. Love coach Mack's teaching. This video gives you everything you need, whether you are a fan of pack line or not. The assistants on the staff offer great tidbits as well.

if you are a pack line coach or WANTING to be a pack line coach, this all access is as good as it gets. mack is an excellent defensive teacher, really knows the offense, makes great points and communicates his teaching very well. 70-75% of this DVD is pack line drills/defensive drills and focus. You can tell this is a defensive season for this Xavier team. you'll get 1-1, 2-2, 3-3 all the way up to 5-5. one thing they do is they have a drill on HOW to defend certain actions like cuts, screens and their philosophy on PnR. Again, Mack and his assistants do a really nice job of explaining and teaching. I think anyone can get something out of this DVD. One thing I want to harp on is that you can really JUST watch this DVD and you will be knowledgeable of the defense. It does a great job of building up the pack line and showing the final product. the build up and drills are key.
If you want info on his ball screen offense, look elsewhere, they have about a total of about maybe 50 some mins on his offense and they dont really go into much depth explaining it, its a continuity ball screen offense, mainly 3 out 2 in set up.
The warm up series/drills they do is really good, its active and gets all 15 players involved with different things, I really liked the way he and his staff ran practices, efficient and at times very intense.
I gave it 5 stars because rarely do we see an all access DVD go from the ground up, this is as close as it gets with everything in between, defending actions, with different drills for Gs and Fs. A great DVD and a great addition to any Pack Line coaches library

This is the best All Access video I have seen. Coach Mack is a great teacher, and his practices are run very efficiently. If you play the pack line and/or run a ball screen offense then this is a must have.

I bought the dvd to get more info on the pack line defense, which I did get. I think Coach Mack is an excellent teacher of the game.

Great video with super drills. If you want a detailed clinic on man defense this is unreal. Coach Mack lets nothing slide. A great teacher and motivator. Even if you believe in ball line defense this is a must have. Have 65 dvds and this is in the top ten for sure.

Excellent if you looking for drill ideas. Coach Mack does a great job with building up from practice to practice.

I dont get the " a wake 4:35" how many lay up should i do?, how many time should we do? And how many sets should we do?

Another really good All Access DVD Set - I always feel like I get my money's worth with these tapes - lots of good drills and coaching tips. I got this one because our team runs the "pack line" and Chris Mack does a really good job of teaching pack line principles in practice - great energy and enthusiasm in his drills. Would highly recommend this one as a great "defensive" clinic.

The video gives a good foundation for the pack line defense. Great drill and concepts on display. I use to think pack line was very passive defense but not with the intensity that is displayed in these videos. If you are considering running the pack line, I certainly suggest these videos over the clinic tapes. More in depth information and drills. You also learn to defend all types of ball screens in drill situations. Great videos.

I have really enjoyed these dvds. Coach Chris Mack is good and detailed. He replaced Sean Miller, so I feel like you could buy either this set OR the Arizona dvds with coach Miller and get some of the same ideas, especially defensively. I personally like the All-Access because you get more on these that you do when you buy the individual dvd's, plus you get alot of the same stuff from the individual dvds.

Wow! Great DVDs!

Excellent!! Coach Mack does a little intro explaining what will happen at practice which is for the coaches who buy this dvd, but after that you are watching a coach teach his players how he believes the game should be played. The explanation of the drills are simple and to the point. His kids play hard, and he sets the tone for a great practice.

Many excellent drills and concepts are displayed. WOW!
