A true legend at work.
Lots of good information from one of the best women college coaches in the game. The pick n roll secondary options are great (watching a masterful coach explain the intricacies of setting up the pick n roll is awesome). Only things missing to complete the DVD (1) little to no post (2) no info on pressing or press break. A bit pricey, but not a bad DVD 4 stars
This is my favorite video set that I own, Coach Auriemma is a fantastic teacher and does it the way that you would expect him to do it. The drills themselves aren't groundbreaking but seeing how an all time great who has a bit of a nasty reputation coach them is worth watching. The secondary break plays flow beautifully into their high/triple-post offense and personally helped me a great deal in my attempts to really understand balanced pro-style offenses.
A fantastic DVD set, my favorite of the All-Access series that I have seen.
I buy a lot of videos and I must say this one is good. I like the Secondary Break options that he uses. The drag, dribble drag, deep, and step up. I used those options running a 5 out offense and it fit in nicely. Love the video great information.

Very good....lot of good little ideas and big ideas.
Well done from beginning to end. Worth the money.
This is one of the best DVD sets I've purchased. For anybody that has wondered what UConn does to make them the best program in the country today, this DVD provides those answers. It shows UConn practices, starting with the first day of practice. Many of us probably use the same drills, but Coach Auriemma shows how to get more out of those drills...
This is the most informative DVD set from the best coach in the game today. I'd highly recommend it to any coach who wants to improve their overall practice performance.

Coach Auriemma sets the tone & expectations from the very beginning & his authority can be felt through the screen. You can tell that the upper classmen lead by example and the freshman fall right in line with the program. All players encourage eachother and intently listen to the coach's instruction and give 100% effort in every drill. Coach covers the ball screen at different angles & areas of the floor in detail. He simplifies & cleans things up over the four days to ensure that his players "just play." They always finish each play with a made basket (this rarely took more than two attempts). The first four days were heavy on the transition offense, but they also covered ball handling & passing. I liked the half court defensive breakdown 4 on 4 shell drill & the rotation on a baseline drive. It was simple & effective. The practices build on eachother & there is a definite plan of attack. I really enjoyed the circle talk at the beginning of each practice, but there was no circle on DVD 3. It would have been nice to have a conclusion or wrap up commentary by coach Auriemma to recap his emphasis & things he would be working on in the coming practices. Overall, this was a very informative DVD set from one of the best coaches in the game today. I'd highly recommend it to any coach who wants to improve their ball screen & roll offense in transition & their overall practice performance.
