All Access Michigan State Basketball with Tom Izzo
on May 24, 2014
I have bought that collection get a wider sight of important elements, BUT, to me that are exercises every simple coach should know and work with.
It doesn't need izzo to introduce simple fastbreak or simple shooting exercises.
The worst thing is, that the second and third CDs are each filled with the exact videomaterial from the first cd....for about 60 minutes...so 3 CDs....but could have been just one cd. That's pretty ugly!
I have expected much more of different exercises to improve my thinking and the playing behavior of my players.
But you won't get that.
For beginners it's for sure nice, for advanced coaches nothing new.

The purpose of All Access is to reveal what top programs do in their practices. It's not only about the drills they run, but also about how the coaches interact with their team and their staff, how they motivate their team, the cue words they use, the atmosphere of the practice and how practices are structured from day to day.
For straight-up teaching videos from Tom Izzo, you might try videos such as BD-02643 or BD-03228. Here is a link to a list of all of Coach Izzo titles. http://www.championshipproductions.com/cgi-bin/champ/auth/1467/Tom-Izzo.html?id=KCFLRVkEhZRf
Hope that helps!
