In this video presentation, Vance Walberg reviews some of the basic principles and terminology from his top selling original video before heading into an examination of his new innovations for areas of the dribble-drive attack. In the review, Coach Walberg goes back to defining the offensive terminology, spacing, player positions, court break down and the basic premise of lane penetration. Walberg analyzes shot selection, his two extras, what "shot means", back responsibilities, like 3's-love layups, ways to play the 4-man, importance of passing and cutting, importance of backdoors, what to do when the ball goes into the post, the value of the jump stop, "AASAA", and the gaps.

Over its existence, Coach Walberg has made many modifications of the Dribble Drive. Some of the new innovations he demonstrates here include the S-gap; use of the dribble; the cuts-basket, T-cut, rub cut, X cut, corner cut and thumb cut; the value of eyes up; the value of the shoulders; and the tear drop shot and pass.

The transition into the dribble-drive attack offense is very important to its success. Walberg takes you through the players' positioning and responsibilities in transition as well as key points of emphasis and five fast break drills to create proper spacing to flow into the dribble drive seemlessly. His drills are all competitive with many teaching components for the offensive system involved.

In trying to stop the dribble drive, teams first adjustment is to go zone. Walberg teaches you how to take advantage of any zone with the dribble-drive attack. His strategies include push action, 2-game, push with 2 game, push off the pass, bump, bump off the pass, drag, "22", "23", "24", and push-fist. Each action is shown and explained in great detail as Walberg takes players through it on the floor.

Coach Walberg looks at 10 of the most often asked questions concerning the dribble-drive attack offense and shares his philosophy and explanations for these questions. This leads into final video review with Walberg talking you through some in-game video examples for the various components to the offense.

Coach Walberg continues to improve and evolve the dribble-drive attack offense in all areas. This is a MUST Get video for coaches looking at installing the entire offensive system into their program!

This is the video to get if you're only able to get one video. Does a good job going into the whole offense. Great for coaches having trouble starting offense, This gives you Specific cuts that will help that along. Also, this is the only video that touches on the "S" gap. Which is the most space a player will see on the court. With the added transition material, this will really help you understand the offense even better! Added feature is the Zone attack. Great video.

Good follow up to the first DVD. Addresses some of the questions coaches had from the original DVD. The zone offense is not really related to the Dribble-Drive man offense but there are some good concepts.

Tough to choose between a 4 or 5, I went with a 4 because the zone continuity was very basic and the honest truth is there isn't a ton to the transition game. There are however a ton of really good teaching points and nuggets that get you to think. Theres also a good handful of tweaks and changes made to the original offense that are worth learning. Lastly despite the elementary nature of the zone stuff, there are couple of solid entries that are easy to learn and attack zones sideline to sideline. Overall one you want to take a look at if you use the dribble drive.

If you are wanting to install AASAA, this video goes in depth and updates earlier videos. Transition system is easy to understand and flows with roles of offense. Zone offense breakdown is basic, but fits rules of AASAA offense and reinforces offensive concepts. Vance does a great job of explaining and demonstrating.

This is actually part 2 of his Dribble drive motion offense series. It reviews some of the basics of the first DVD and then goes on to expand these concepts to the next level. Very well done and simply one of the the best basketball DVD's on any subject. Fran Fraschilla's DVD is also a five star production as well on this same offense. These DVD's are the reason my team primarily uses this offense to attack man to man defenses. It's not that this is better than any other offense but when it's taught this well it's easy to understand and teach your players. Yes the zone part is basic but its designed to get your own imagination to work out some possibilities. Zone attack is likely another DVD. I'll mix in some Flex from time to time and even run some triangle sets but this is the main offense. WE refer to it simply as "1" I have his defensive DVD's which are also very good. Probably a good idea to have your players spend some time with it as well!!

Great video and teaching points about the offense and it's breakdown from transition to half court. The Zone portion of it is elementary at best.

Vance clearly put a lot of time and effort into making an outstanding product. The on-court instruction as well as the game film examples are tremendous. One of the best DVDs I've seen.
