Long-time UConn Assistant Coach Tom Moore works through multiple offensive sets showing you quick hitters you can use against man-to-man defense. Several plays are run out of each set increasing the effectiveness against quality defenses. Coach Moore demonstrates plays that have specific goals in order to best utilize the talent on the floor.

Plays for three-point shots, mid-range jump shots, and scoring from the post are included. Whether the intended target is a guard for a perimeter shot or a low post player eager to score, each play is very precise in the timing and movements necessary for successful execution.

These set plays and quick hitters are run out of multiple formations:

• 3-2 Offense - Includes multiple plays out of the most common set in today's game.
• Box Set - Utilize screening action to set up wide open shots and create foul trouble for your opponent.
• Horns - This popular NBA formation provides open shots off of stagger screens.
• 2-1-2 - Create mismatches by taking advantage of pop out action and skilled post players.
• Stack Set - Create defensive confusion in the lane that will allow your post players to hide in the open spots.
• Sideline Out of Bounds A late clock 3-point play made famous by the NBA's San Antonio Spurs.

Moore provides a walk-through for each play and then demonstrates 5-on-0 offense to show the timing of the movements. All of the plays include misdirection, forcing the defense into help positioning even before the ball- and stagger-screen combinations begin.

These plays will make your opponent's defense extremely uncomfortable. They have so much movement and unpredictability that they can be called repeatedly throughout a game without fail!
