Learn how to develop a hitting plan for swing mechanics and gain over 30 drills to improve your at bats.
Todd Whitting breaks down the swing into five main components, provides a thorough walk through of each component and identifies key principles that must be present during each part.
He then shows you how to customize your hitting plan to improve your players' individual weaknesses.
Whitting demonstrates over 30 drills pulled directly from the TCU hitting program. Each drill includes in-depth instruction for proper execution, key points, how it corrects your swing, and more! These drills will improve critical areas such as hip rotation, swing path, rhythm, and head movement.
Finally, Whitting incorporates all of TCU's hitting philosophies and techniques into a live batting practice.
Give your hitters more confidence at the plate and create a hitting program that will put more runs on the board.

I wholeheartedly disagree with the two overly negative comments. I have worked with hitters and hitting instructors of all levels and these approaches are tried and true. You have to look at the common themes and not get caught up with the fact that Coach Whiting may have not picked the best kids or had the best day with a couple of guys providing some examples. There were also some very good swings as well. Their record in hitting speaks volumes. Protesting so much shows how little you know about the game.
I will have to disagree with some other reviews left here. This video isn't terrible, I found a lot of useful drills to help hitters with some holes in their swing. Although I don't agree with everything he teaches, I still found this video useful.
There is not a big league hitter that swings the way Coach Whitting teaches. During the tee drill one of his players isnt even performing the swing Coach Whitting is teaching (probably one of his better hitters). The advent of high speed video is really going to expose bad information such as this video. Find me a video (they are everywhere google it they even have Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, and Stan Musial slow motion video available on youtube)of a professional hitter demonstrating the techniques found on this video...please somebody find me one. Watch Bryce Harper in slow motion hitting a baseball...Ill bet he didnt watch this video.
This is a bad video. For the price of your videos, I would expect a lot more useful information. On top of the fact that many of the techniques are actually incorrect and bad instruction, there is little information on the actual 'current' techniques that make a better hitter. Spend your money elsewhere, this is old and and has been information. I suggest Perry Husband or Turtle Thomas, or Joe Brockhoff. This is a waste of money.Championship Productions replies:Coach,
Thanks for your candid review. We felt it necessary to produce a hitting video with TCU, as they consistently rank in the NCAA Division I top 30 in every statistical category for hitting. Thanks again for the review!
