Jeff StilesJeff Stiles,
Washington University (St. Louis) Men's and Women's Head Cross Country Coach

In nine years, Jeff Stiles has built a dominant program as the head cross country coach at Washington University. Both the men's (7th) and women's (10th) cross country squads placed in the top-10 at the 2009 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships, marking the first time in school history both teams accomplished that feat. In addition, the women's team won the University Athletic Association (UAA) Conference title, the 10th in school history. In all, Coach Stiles has led the women's team to three third-place finishes at the national meet during his tenure. Also in 2009, Stiles took over as head track and field coach and guided the Red and Green to one of the most successful seasons in school history. The women's team won the 2009 UAA Championship, and the men's and women's squads each captured the team title at the conference's outdoor meet. The WU women went on to place fifth at the 2009 NCAA Division III Championships, marking the highest finish at the NCAA Outdoor meet in school history. A graduate of North Central College, Stiles qualified for eight NCAA Championship meets and earned All-America honors six times. He also captained the 1997 cross country squad and the 1998 outdoor track and field team to national championships.

Dave NashDave Nash,

As a collegian, Nash was one of the most successful middle distance runners in Morningside history. He earned All-America honors in the 800-meters as a senior. Nash still holds six Morningside school records. A highly successful amateur runner at the national level, Nash was named 2003 Master's Male Athlete of the Year by USA Track & Field (USATF).
