Jamaican National Track & Field Team Assistant Coach (Sprints) and Jamaican World Junior Teams Head Coach

The Jamaican Sprint teams are dominating the world track scene, and sprint coach Maurice Wilson has played a major role in its success. One of Jamaica's up and coming coaching stars, Maurice Wilson has served as an assistant on the Jamaican National Team at the 2008 and 2004 Olympic Games, as well as in four World Championships. Wilson's athletes have dominated the 400m events – reaching the Olympic finals in 400m and medaling in the 4x400m relays. He is the coach of Rosemarie Whyte, Olympic finalist in the 400m, and bronze medalist in the 4x400m relays and silver medalist in the 4x400m relays in Berlin. In addition, Wilson served as head coach to the 2002 and 2001 Jamaican World Junior Teams. Wilson has mastered his craft in the trenches at the high school level, serving as Head Girls Track Coach at Holmwood Technical High School in Manchester (JA), where his squads have taken seven consecutive girls championships. In addition, Wislon coached Schillonie Calvert, the 2008 NACAC under 23 100m champion. He carries an IAAF Level one and two certification.

Danny Harris Danny Harris
Iowa State University Assistant Coach (sprints / hurdles); Olympic Silver Medalist

In 2008, Olympic silver medalist Danny Harris returned to Iowa State where he starred from 1984-1987. Harris won a national championship in the 400-meter hurdles. In fact, he was never beaten by a collegiate athlete in the 400-meter hurdles during his time at Iowa State (37-0). Harris received All-American honors 12 times and won 16 Big Eight Championships in his Iowa State career. Harris helped lead the Cyclones to three outdoor Big Eight team titles and two indoor crowns during his three year career. Harris set Big Eight records in the indoor 400 hurdles, 600 yards and 4x400 relay. During his career as a Cyclone, Harris earned a silver medal at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. He won the U.S. Championship in the 400 hurdles in 1986 and placed second at the IAAF World Championship in 1987. Harris' greatest fame came when he ended Edwin Moses' 122-race winning streak in June of 1987 in Madrid, Spain.

Georgia Tech Assistant Coach (field events); former US Olympian

Nat Page is in his 14th year as an assistant coach at Georgia Tech. Page is responsible for coaching field events, as well as the men's and women's sprint hurdle events. Since joining the Tech staff in 1996, Page has mentored Tech student-athletes to 37 ACC titles, 39 All-America performances and four national titles. Page was named the NCAA South Region Men's Assistant Coach of the Year in 2008, and the Mondo Women's Jumps/Multi Events Coach of the Year in 2004. Some of Page's more accomplished athletes include Terrance Trammell, the 2009 USA Indoor 60-meter hurdle national champion who earned silver medals in the 110-meter hurdles at both the 2007 and 2009 World Championships; and Chaunte Howard, who won the high jump at the '08 U.S. Olympic trials, and went on to place sixth at the 2008 Beijing games. She also won the Gold medal at the 2009 U.S. Outdoor National Championships this past summer in Eugene, Ore. Howard finished in a tie for 28th place on a rare off day. She ended her career at Tech as a six-time ACC champion, six-time All-American, three-time NCAA champion and three-time ACC Most Valuable Performer. Howard currently ranks sixth in the world and is the top American in the high jump. Page founded Nat's Athletic Training and Career Experiences in September 1993. He has coached nine World Championship team members and five Olympians.

Jay Johnson Jay Johnson

Jay Johnson spent six years as the middle distance coach, assistant cross-country coach and recruiting coordinator for the Colorado University Track and Field program. A former runner at CU, Johnson was a three-year letterwinner in cross-country and track and field. While at CU, his squad won three Big 12 and three Mountain Region titles. He was a 12-time academic all-conference selection and was named the CU Male Scholar Athlete of the Year in 1999. He resigned in 2008 and now coaches a small group of post collegiate athletes in Boulder while writing a weekly Q&A and training tip for NikeRunning.com from his home in Denver. Johnson is the founder and director of the Boulder Running Camps.

Jim Aikens Jim Aikens
William Fremd (IL) High School Head Coach; Illinois High School Coaches Hall of Fame

Illinois Track & Cross Country Coaches Hall of Fame member Jim Aikens has been coaching the throws since 1984. During this time he has never failed to qualify a thrower for the state meet. He became head coach at William Fremd High School in Palatine, Illinois in 1990. During this time Aikens' throwers have won four state championships, as well as eight conference championships, six sectional championships and four top 7 finishes at the Illinois state meet. Aikens has served as the director of Junior Athletics for USA Track & Field in the state of Illinois and holds USA Track & Field Level 1 and Level 2 certification. He is a Level One USATF Lead Instructor and is a USATF Nationally Certified Official in the throws. Jim has also served as President for the Illinois Track and Cross-Country Coaches Association. He is currently the Illinois representative for the National Throws Coaches Association.

Barbara Crousen Barbara Crousen
McMurray University Track & Field Head Coach; 2008 NCAA DIII National Champions

Since taking over the program in the summer of 1998, Crousen has helped McMurry become a consistent track power in the south region and nationally among NCAA Division III schools. In fact, Coach Crousen guided McMurry's men to the NCAA III Outdoor National Championship in 2008, becoming the first female coach to guide a men's team to a NCAA title. It also gave the school its first national title of any kind since it began intercollegiate athletic competition in 1923. She followed that up with a runner-up finish in 2009 – finishing just four points shy of repeating as national champions. Crousen has led the men's team to 11 consecutive American Southwest Conference titles (1999-2009) and the women's team to 10 ASC championships in the last 11 seasons (1999-2004, 2006-2009). During that time, she has been named the ASC's Men's Coach of the Year all 11 seasons and nine times she was named the Women's ASC Coach of the Year. In 2009, she was named the men's South Region Coach of the Year marking the sixth time she'd earned the honor. Crousen was named the women's South Region Coach of the Year three straight years (2000-2002) including the nation's highest honor in 2001 when she was named NCAA Division III National Coach of the Year. In all, 120 All-America honors have been passed out to McMurry tracksters since Crousen's tenure began in 1999, including 27 national champions between indoor and outdoor competitions. She also coached the South Region Athlete of the Year 13 times. Crousen is USA Track and Field Level I certified in the sport, certified in USA TF Level II for sprints and hurdles and a USATF Level I Lead Instructor.

Trevor Richards Trevor Richards
Drake University Assistant Coach (Pole Vault); National Masters Pole Vault Champion

Trevor Richards, a former All-Big Eight Conference performer for Iowa State, is in his 11th year as a pole vault coach at Drake University. During his tenure at Drake, Richards coached Joel Lelacheur to two consecutive appearances in the NCAA Midwest Regionals. Under Richard's tutelage, Lelacheur set a Drake freshman record record at 16-2. He also finished second at the 2002 Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Championships and third in 2003. He also coached Jessica Hetcko to school indoor and outdoor records in the women's pole vault, along with earning all-league honors three times in that event. Richards was captain of the 1990 Iowa State Track team and finished third in the Big Eight Conference outdoor meet that year. He owns the Iowa State school indoor (17-0.5) and outdoor (17-5) records. Richards won the gold medal in the masters 40 age division at the World Masters Track and Field Championships in August 2007 in Riccione, Italy, soaring 15 feet, 1 inch, and finished as the runner-up at the 2009 Drake Relays Master Vault event.
