Steeplechase

The steeplechase combines distance running with hurdling skills and the maneuvering of the water jump barrier. While athletes are trained as distance runners, practice planning is more complex because technique and rhythm skills must be developed. Additional anaerobic work is also required. The athlete must learn to run the race as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
