Swiss Ball Training

Posture, line and balance are essential elements of successful athletes. Swiss Ball training offers an excellent way to train the core musculature - i.e. your abs and lower back (or stabilizer muscles). The Swiss ball provides an unstable training environment that requires an athlete to incorporate unused, and often underdeveloped, muscle groups within the core to provide the stability to remain balanced on the ball. Also, placing an athlete on the Swiss ball while performing traditional exercises will add a dimension of core stabilization that can only be attained while utilizing the Swiss ball.
