In this DVD, Coach Arteaga presents pitching fundamentals and drills. The first drill illustrated is the laying down drill. This drill teaches the set up and center finish. The knee drill concentrates on the upper half of the body. The stride drill brings the player to a standing position, where the coach analyzes specific teaching points. The balance drill creates feel and body control for pitchers. The chair drill stresses an open upper and lower half of the pitcher's body. Another chair drill places the player in from of the chair and teaches a strong front side and hip to knee motion. A similar drill, chair extension, keeps the knee at a 90-degree angle. On the mound, Arteaga teaches the art of playing from the stretch. Working from the wind up is also taught. Practical, fundamental drills can teach players balance, technique and skill. All of the drills in this excellent presentation will help develop well-rounded, fundamental pitchers.

This is the greatest pitching DVD I have bought. I've spent lots of montey on baseball education. I am 100% happy with this instruction and have sought out other instruction by Coach Arteaga's There is much more to this DVD than the chair drills. Coach Arteaga covers the entire pitching delivery and progressive drills. I would love for my son to play for Coach Arteaga one day.
